Music Appreciation
Study Circles for Children, Youth and Adults
Come and enjoy playing music!
These courses are organized in groups of up to 6 children, youth or adult students. It includes warm up exercises, introduction to rhythm, melody and harmony in simple, more affordable ways for the general public and student's understanding. Most of all, to generate awareness of the benefits that music can bring into the life of each individual.
We have programs focused on 'Percussion set' and 'Singing Voice', that are designed to improve skills like:
. Attention, Concentration, Audio perception, Tuning up the 'Musical Ear',
. Appreciation of the variety that World Music has on its own,
. Collaboration in a group, playing along with others confers self-confidence and a sense of comradeship and team work.
. Development of the sense of 'creative discipline' in terms of rhythm, melody and improvisation,
. Learning songs and music compositions from simple to more complex pieces,
. Building a personal list of music pieces, songs or repertoire.
Classes are open to all levels of music experience, as we have beginners, intermediate and advance students in our class schedule.
